Too Good To Be True?
As a born skeptic, I scoffed at the idea that I could buy a modern computer with a Microsoft license, a new mouse, a new keyboard, and a working wireless adapter for $94.95 total with no sales tax, and no shipping charges. This offer had to be too good to be true. I am thrilled to say that I was wrong. My new computer arrived promptly at my door, 5 days after it was ordered, well within the 3 to 5 day shipping claimed in the ad. The box contained a Dell Optiplex 745 with Windows 7 Service Pack 1 loaded along with Open Office, Mozilla Firefox, and several other useful software utilities. I hooked up to my existing monitor, plugged everything in and the computer worked like a charm. Installing the wireless adapter required a little fussing, but within an hour I was surfing the net through my DSL wireless router. A short time ago, I summoned the courage to take the free Microsoft upgrade to Windows 10. I was quite nervous fearing that I would wind up ruining a perfectly good computer by trying to make it better. Two hours later Windows 10 was up and running the show. There was not a single problem with the upgrade. I was so pleased with my purchase that ordered another one. It, too, arrived in 5 days to my door, and worked perfectly. I give Discount Computer Depot my highest possible recommendation.

Received dead mouse with delivery.
System overall was fine, except for one thing, a dead mouse. I contacted Discount computer depot as soon as the order arrived. I have not heard back from customer service about the dead non-working mouse. Order #5670 Placed on Sept. 24th 2015

No Problems!
Worked right out of the box without problems. Had Windows 7 and took free upgrade to Windows 10. Some personal adjustment, but systems worked without problems. Second computer in home from Discount Computers and both were winners! Reuben Smith Tonopah, Arizona

Good stuff..
The computer came within the timeframe stated on their website: 3-5 days. What impressed me most is the 1 year warranty on the refurbished computer. No one does that these days, at least none that I know of. I also got a call shortly after I took delivery. The computer, the mouse, the keyboard and the wireless adapter all worked well since delivery, no problem whatsoever. I'm loving these stuff. I will recommend them to friends and family.

refurbished
I don't see anywhere that this unit is described as refurbished, but looking at it, it is not new. It runs fine and for all the horror stories I hear about windows 10...it runs the internet better than win 7. However I want to say to you I am certain this is not a new unit. Scratches, labels finger nailed, some parts loose.... If I get 4 years out of this unit it will be money well spent. 44 cents per week........no problem. I have also noticed you can no longer record DVD's with newer towers. A play only unit. Good Luck!.

Pleasantly Surprised
Decided to take the plunge and give DCD a try (I'm a very skeptical buyer) after some research. At this point, I've had my computer for several days and couldn't be happier. Since I already had a good monitor, I bought a refurbished Dell CPU unit. The CPU took about 5-6 days to arrive and came with a new keyboard, new mouse, power cord, and new wireless usb hub. Everything was well packaged and worked just as DCD had promised (DCD includes an instructional manual with purchase to get everything set up). The CPU until itself booted right up as a new Windows 7 computer (you're given the option to upgrade to Windows 10 once your computer is set up). The wireless usb hub took a minute to get working but now works like a charm. At this point, I've already mentioned DCD to several people as an option when looking for a computer. I read some reviews were people were not as happy (or lucky) as me but I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from DCD again. I'm already looking at purchasing a nice big monitor.
